ApplyAI is a job search engine designed for recent college graduates and undergraduate students. ApplyAI uses machine learning to sift through thousands of job listings and pick out only those jobs that are truly suitable for someone making their way through, or are fresh out of, college. The algorithm focuses on full-time positions that require 0-3 years of experience, simplifying the effort that it takes to find an entry level job, or jobs with a low amount of required experience in the field. This will ensure that students have a smart filter to find and display the jobs they need to get into fields at the ground floor. Participants can interact with a laptop we provide to see the efficacy of the program. With a large number of job listings available in this demo, after a search they will see how the program cuts through the overwhelming amount of listings. This will be displayed with a tangible “confidence score” attached to this sorting which can be further corroborated against the actual listing. This will give them a feel for how the program filters and decides what to show to a user.
