Automated Chime Machine Showcase
Location
James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - Classroom/Lab
Speak with students who have designed and built an automated machine to play a selected "song" on a set of metal tubes (the "chimes"). Designs are built with laser-cut plywood pieces, 3d-printed components, and supplied motors, solenoids, switches, and so forth. Students will show their CAD models and design documents, and demonstrate the functionality of their machines. Learn what the engineering design process is all about!
