Automated Resistor Sorter

Location

George H. Clark Gymnasium (CLK/003) - Gymnasium

The objective of this project is to develop an automated resistor sorter that is capable of sorting electrical components, primarily resistors, with 95% minimum accuracy. The mechanism must be able to correctly identify resistors from other electric parts. Additionally, the resistors must be sorted by resistance value into separate bins. This automated system must provide efficiency and speed so the device should take less than 30 seconds to sort a single resistor.
