Autonomous Chess Board v2

Location

Gordon Field House and Activities Center (GOR/024) - Main Floor

The Autonomous Chessboard v2 exhibit will allow visitors to test their chess skills against a robotic chess board powered by AI. Visitors will select a game mode and difficulty, then begin playing as if there was a human opponent. Using Lichess and Stockfish, an open-source chess engine, this chess board will give players of any skill level a challenge. Visitors also have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at what went into creating the board and the technology that makes it all possible.
