Our reimagining introduces a physical challenge through a hopscotch-style tile course. Each round presents a unique pattern that players must jump through, adding an extra layer of engagement. A fully developed leaderboard tracks players' scores based on their accuracy in following the hopscotch path, answering trivia, and, as a final tiebreaker, their speed. Once both players submit their answers, a point tally animation appears on-screen and players will be added to our overall leaderboard. Game shows peaked in TV viewership in the 1950s but declined in the early '90s. Battle of the Buzzers envisions what a game show might have looked like had they thrived in the '90s, embracing the era’s signature neon aesthetic. We use vibrant colors, bright lights, and a darkened room to create an immersive, retro-futuristic feel. While incorporating modern technology, our design transports guests back in time, capturing the energy and excitement of a ’90s-inspired game show. Whether reliving past memories or discovering the thrill of a game show environment for the first time, guests of all ages will find Battle of the Buzzers an engaging and unforgettable experience.
