Bitcoin Mining Re-Imagined

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - 4th Floor

Bitcoin miners are placed on generic shelves and are inefficiently spread throughout large areas that manage heat and dirt to the best of the mining company's capability. Long lengths of ethernet and power cables are used. Power distribution units or PDUs are used to get single or three-phase AC power to the miners. There are many inefficiencies, excess materials used, and lots of areas for improvement. We are redesigning the chassis for 1) Improved maintenance, 2) Improved Cooling, 3) Noise Reduction, and 4) Improved energy efficiency.
