CPR Phantom

We are working on the creation of a more biomechanically accurate CPR Manikin that does not just focus on sternal compressions. This project is created through Multidisciplinary Senior Design and overseen by our client, CPR Therapeutics. The phantom is designed to capture real time data for force and displacement around the thoracic cavity. The design contains spring steel ribs to mimic the mechanics of the human body, air bladders for the lungs and abdomen, and a fluid filled bladder for the heart. The software allows the user to receive and analyze real time feedback on their performance.
