CyberCorps Cybersecurity Showcase

The CyberCorp Scholarship for Service Scholars at RIT will be hosting a cybersecurity showcase during Imagine RIT. We will have 4 different booths to showcase different aspects of cybersecurity that our scholars have developed. We will have a K-12 game that participants will have an opportunity to try out to teach students about cybersecurity concepts, including social engineering. In addition to this, we will showcase various attack tools and how they can be used in the real world by cybersecurity professionals. Our scholars have also developed a curriculum geared towards adults that teaches them good cybersecurity practices that they can implement into their everyday lives. We will have packets created that people can take with them to have references in addition to what we teach them. Lastly, we will have a display to teach people the basics of cryptography, including a hands-on activity they can participate in.
