Determining the Liquid Level in a Centrifuged Blood Sample

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - Erdle Commons

Our project is a liquid level detection system used for centrifuged blood samples. The system uses a three-dimensional Cartesian gantry system to move a probe down a vial, where our microcontroller starts to process when the probe touches the liquid surface. The visitor experience will see a live demonstration of the liquid level detection system running detection tests.
