GCI Cyber Experience (RITSEC & WiCyS)

The Global Cybersecurity Institute has partnered with RIT's Cybersecurity club, RITSEC, to provide an interactive experience for ImagineRIT attendees. Visitors will be able to learn the basics of cybersecurity through demonstration and interactive challenges inside of the IBM Cyber Range at RIT. The event will hold an active CTF, hosted by the Women in Cybersecurity(WiCyS) Student Chapter, for participants to compete in throughout the day. There will be tables for cybersecurity students to present on their work such as; DFIR(Digital Forensics and Incident Response), Wireless Security, and Hardware. Conference rooms will be open to stop by to learn how to pick locks, make ethernet cables, and gain an understanding of real threat actors through offensive security tacks, techniques, and procedures.
