Hands-On Exploration of Ultrasound and Anatomy

Location

Gordon Field House and Activities Center (GOR/024) - Main Floor

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on experience with ultrasound systems and anatomical models. Guided by sonographers, you will have the chance to scan various anatomical structures, explore how ultrasound technology works in real-time, and gain insight into its use in both medical diagnostics and education. Whether you're new to ultrasound or have some experience, this interactive session will offer a deeper understanding of how ultrasound and anatomy come together in healthcare.

Three portable ultrasound systems are set up behind anatomical models for hands-on learning, featuring second-trimester pregnant abdomens with fetal models, along with an upper abdomen model for students to explore human anatomy through ultrasound.
