Imagine Drag: All-Ages Drag Club Show

Experience the diverse creativity of RIT's student body through an important queer performance art showcased at Imagine RIT! Each set contains a performer or group doing lipsync, dance, comedy, etc. Each performer will be dressed as their drag persona- a character defined by their makeup, outfit, and attitude. Each character has a unique name, backstory, and plays on expected tropes of gender expression. Our performers utilize audience interaction to connect to the crowd, encouraging people to clap, cheer, and sing along! At least one "MC" will introduce each set and the performer(s). There will be an intermission where the "MC"(s) will either do general drag/LGBT history trivia or invite audience members to participate in an activity on stage. This show is family-friendly/rated PG, and is welcome to all!
