Live-Captioning Glasses

Location

Golisano Hall (GOL/070) - 1949 (East Hallway)

RIT is home to the greatest college in the world for deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) students; our captioning glasses aim to ease daily experiences for those students while truly being accessible and inexpensive. CSH's live-captioning glasses take in surrounding microphone input, transcribe it, and display the transcription to the user, allowing DHH students to be more involved in spoken conversations. Visitors will be able to test out the glasses and view how the transcription software works with our prototype glasses.
