Raspberry Pi Smart Mirror

The RIT NSBE chapter will showcase a custom-built 32" smart mirror powered by a Raspberry Pi. This interactive mirror features video and speech recognition, along with a touchscreen display. Attendees can engage with custom interfaces designed by the chapter or simply observe the mirror's functionality and design. Through this project members will gain valuable hands-on experience including but not limited to: Working with open-source software and understanding its importance; 3D modeling and printing, hardware configuration using a Raspberry Pi 4. Additionally, members will develop software skills created by using interfaces in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also strengthening their teamwork and project management skills.
