RIT Hot Wheelz Solar Vehicle Team

Hot Wheelz is a predominately women, student-run organization dedicated to the enrichment of the RIT students' education by providing them with the tools to learn and explore possibilities for future employment in all industries. The team purchased the chassis of the vehicle from another university and integrated all possible current designs and manufactured components into the steel frame chassis and carbon fiber shells, including the entire electrical system, dashboard, cockpit, and suspension along with updating the car to meet all current rules and regulations. This car is giving us a jumpstart in competing for the first time this summer in the Formula Sun Grand Prix!
