RIT K-12 University Center STEAM Exploration!

Location

Ritter Ice Arena - Main Floor

RIT’s K-12 University Center offers the greater community a view of the many experiential learning opportunities youth are gaining STEAM knowledge, skills and abilities, building the next generation of explorers, creators, and innovators. RIT faculty, staff, and youth participants share their exciting research projects, senior capstones, and demonstrate their accomplishments, including youth who have won competitions for the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium sub-regional and LEGO robotics. Youth and families have fun participating in Camp Tiger hands-on, make and take STEAM activities while visiting this exhibit. As part of the Imagine RIT experience, youth obtain an “RIT Imagine Fest Youth Passport.” They engage in 3 exhibits across the campus and provide feedback on their experiences in the passport. Youth who complete the Youth Passport while at Imagine RIT receive an RIT Imagine Fest badge (for scouts) or decal sticker.
