Sequoia: An Animated Short Film

Our exhibit is showcasing the painterly 3D animated short film which depicts the events of the real life Castle Wildfire in 2020 using personified Sequoia tree matriarchs. The short film is 5 minutes long and the exhibit will feature the short film as well as additional resources that people can look through to learn more about the Castle wildfire. This will include links to organizations that specialize in Sequoia conservation, and fun facts presented visually on posters about Sequoia trees laid out around the exhibit. Visitors can come to learn more about the life cycle of Sequoia trees and feel empowered to take action towards conservation of these beautiful trees.
