Spherical Mobile Robot
Our project is the design of a spherical mobile robot. As an example, the team wants to recreate the same type of motion seen in Star Wars from BB8. This project has the goal of being a research and exploration platform. Those piloting the robot could mount their own hardware inside the robot to collect data on the environment. The robot will feature a FPV camera system with an integrated headset to allow the robot pilot to see in real time where the robot is and its environment.
