Bio
Adwoa Boateng is the Science and Health Sciences Librarian for the College of Science and the College of Health Sciences and Technology. She has an Ed.D in Education from St John Fisher University, a MLS in Library and Information Studies from the University of Buffalo, a M.S. in Education and a . B.S. in Medical Technology- Biochemistry from Elmira College. Prior to coming to RIT, she worked as a new product development laboratory technician and as Technical reseach librarian at Corning. Afterwards she worked as the medical/health information researcher and library manager at Bausch & Lomb. Her research interests focus on STEMM library instruction, library collection and curriculum development as well as user behavior with information, space and technology in libraries.
