Bio
Grey (they/them) is the liaison librarian for the students, faculty, and staff of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, as well as the Student Success Librarian. They provide classroom instruction, research consultations, and curate information resources for subject guides.
Grey graduated from Pratt Institute in 2020 and previously worked in public libraries focusing on digital literacy with youth. They gave a presentation at the 2022 New York Library Association annual conference, as well as to the Finger Lakes Library System on effective ways of using TikTok as a tool for connected learning instruction to middle school students.
Grey's previous work also focused on ensuring that the public library was accessible and inclusive to everyone, especially those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or are neurodiverse. They implemented universal design programming and instruction as well as launched sensory friendly movie showings, at-home life and social skills kits, and created an assistive technology lending library.
