RIT Croatia launches a new media design program, accepting students for fall 2022
RIT has launched a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in new media design at its RIT Croatia Zagreb campus. Enrollment is currently underway and the first cohort of students will begin its studies in the multidisciplinary degree program this fall.

RIOT Racing: Baja team wins first place overall in weekend international competition
More than 1,500 students from 100 national and international collegiate race teams competed June 2-5 at RIT’s Gordon Field House and the Hogback Hill Motocross site in Palmyra, N.Y. Several teams aced the course, but at the end of the weekend, RIOT Racing, RIT’s Baja race team, conquered the field.

Nutrition and dietetics majors study Mediterranean diet in Greece this summer
Zoraa Victor, a fourth-year student in the dietetics and nutrition BS program in the Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition, will spend six weeks studying the plant-based Mediterranean diet at Perrotis College in Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece.

RIT students, alumni, and faculty have had another successful year securing prestigious Fulbright awards to pursue immersive global experiences. Three recent graduates received awards through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2022-2023 academic year and three faculty received Fulbright Scholar Awards.

Maria Morcos ’22 BS/MS (physician assistant) will spend the next academic year conducting a clinical asthma trial at the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain. It will be the first asthma clinical trial in the area.

Fulbright scholar Benjamin Gloger will travel to Germany to strengthen supply chains
After graduating this year, computer science major Benjamin Gloger will spend almost a year living and working in Germany on a Fulbright Research scholarship. He will work on a project aimed at strengthening supply chains and their cybersecurity.
