Osher member Yoko Ooyama was born in Japan in 1931.She lived there throughout the War and the immediate post-war years.Dick met her here at Osher in Current Events Class in 2016.Their conversations led to a videoed interview .As a 14-year-old girl, she survived firebombing raids in two different cities including the devastating Tokyo raid on the night of March 9, 1945.
