The Antiracist Curriculum Project teaches the local history of structural racism and civil rights in our community and has been adopted by more than 15 school districts throughout Greater Rochester. Students learn about the inspiring ideas and actions of people such as Constance Mitchell and Dr. Walter Cooper while also learning about the past policies that led to harm and the actions that can be taken today to bring about positive change. Ultimately the project works to cultivate more informed and engaged community members to build a more just and equitable society.
