Adam J. Bello was first elected Monroe County Executive in 2020 mere months before the COVID-19 pandemic changed the course of our community. Now, Monroe County, like communities across the country is engaged in recovery efforts supported by a once-in-a-generation allocation of $144 million in American Rescue Plan Recovery Funds. Monroe County's recovery agenda under the banner Bring Monroe Back is making historic investments in public safety, public health and wellness, workforce and economic development, and infrastructure improvements. Each of these four pillars of County government is being addressed through a lens of equity to ensure that all our residents have opportunities to succeed.
