In November 1922 the name of Tutankhamun--a little-known boy king from 3,000 years ago--became a household name. The discovery of his tomb in the Valley of the Kings created a sensation that reverberates to this day. But how did it unfold? What did Howard Carter and his team find? How did the world find out? Follow a rough timeline of those exciting years as the treasures of Tutankhamun emerged and sparked Egyptomania around the world.
