Preble and Howland publish proceedings from Quantum Information Science Conference

Stefan Preble, professor in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, and Gregory Howland, assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy, published the proceedings from the Quantum Information Science, Sensing, and Computation XVI Conference in National Harbor, Md. Their work discusses multi-photon-pair production in packaged, foundry-fabricated silicon waveguide spirals and the mixing entropy of star couplers for path-based multi-plane light conversion.
