Plastic Pollution is a Complex Problem

That’s why understanding and addressing plastic pollution requires researchers from many disciplines. Our team has faculty with expertise in Aquatic Ecology (Christy Tyler), Applied Mathematics (Matthew J. Hoffman), Chemistry (Nathan Eddingsaas), Engineering (Steven Day), and Microbiology (André Hudson) as well as an Education Specialist (Kaeti Stoss) and many wonderful postdocs, staff, technicians, and students across multiple programs.
