Virginia Bacheler

Virginia began throwing pots before pursuing a teaching career at The College at Brockport as a Broadcast Journalism professor. Virginia has now returned to pottery and focuses on hand-painted functional pieces. The rhythms and shapes, joyful color, and patterns in everyday life inform her work. She shares that delight with others. Virginia's partner in life is Skip Battaglia, Professor Emeritus, RIT School of Film and Animation, College of Art and Design.
