Shipping
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise noted. All orders are insured and shipped within 3 business days of receipt. Shipping times will vary but typically range from 2-7 business days. International shipping may be available for an added fee, please email shopone@rit.edu to request a quote.
Terms and Conditions of Shop One Gift Cards
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Shop One Gift Card (“Card”). By using this Card you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
The terms “you” and “your” refer to the person who receives the Card and/or the person who uses the Card.
About Your Card
The Card is not a credit, charge or a debit card. Treat this Card as you would cash. The Card is a prepaid payment device with a dollar value that is printed on the back of the Card. The Card may only be used at Shop One for payment of merchandise not to exceed the dollar value or credit balance on the card.
No Fee
This card has no fees.
Funds Do Not Expire
The funds on this card do not expire.
Available Balance
The value of the Card at any time is the “Available Balance.” You may check the balance of the Card at any time by contacting Shop One at (585) 475- 2335. When you make a purchase with the Card, Shop One will deduct the full amount of that purchase, including taxes and any other fees, from the Available Balance. Once the Available Balance reaches zero (0), the Card is no longer valid and cannot be used. The Card is not reloadable. You should destroy the Card after the Available Balance reaches zero (0).
How To Use Your Card
Making Retail Purchases
Present the Card to the cashier for payment and inform the cashier that it is a gift card. Retain the receipt as a record of the purchase.
Making Split Tender Purchases
You may be able to use the Card with another form of payment. This is known as a “Split Tender Transaction.” To make a purchase for more than the Available Balance on the Card:
- Present the Card for payment and tell the cashier it is a prepaid card.
- Tell the cashier the Available Balance on the Card and inquire whether another form of payment can also be accepted to complete the transaction.
- Be prepared to present a second form of payment to complete the balance of the purchase.
There is no guarantee that management will be available to perform a Split Tender transaction.
Internet and Mail Order Purchases
Internet and mail order purchases are not allowed.
Lost or Stolen Cards
Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
Returns
Card Returns
Cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash, unless required by law. Please contact Shop One if you have questions, concerns or issues regarding a Card purchase.
Merchandise Returns
All sales are final. Merchandise purchased with the Cards or any other form of payment, including Split Transactions, are not eligible for returns.
Changes to These Terms and Conditions
We may change the terms of, or add new terms to, these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice subject to applicable law. In addition we may suspend, cancel, add, modify or delete any feature offered in connection with the Card with or without notice, subject to applicable law. Applicable Law
Terms and Conditions, the Card and all questions about enforceability and interpretation are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
