Painting 'Into the Unknown'

A subconscious exploration of deep water and deep space and the perceived parallel is the source of the artist's inspiration. Painting allows the exploration of the mystery and rich blackness inherent in each of these places. The ocean floor and outer space are places that cannot be readily seen. The unknown aspects of these places represented in this painting are where thoughts can visually manifest themselves underneath the weight of oceanic waves or floating in deep space.
