This book is an exploration of Lichtenberg figures - the amazing patterns formed when electricity flows. Not only a showcase for how beautiful these patterns are, but is also a simple guide on how to record one’s own lightning patterns at home. I have documented several techniques that are safe for the home experimenter, as long as the techniques are not modified. The two electrostatic generators that are used for experimentation are relatively safe as long as modest precautions of safety are taken.
