A Representative Student Organization (RSO) is a student organization which operates in a governance or representative capacity or provides a significant service to the student body of RIT.
NSC: NTID Student Congress
The NTID Student Congress helps to provide services and programs and review issues for the approximately 1,100 students enrolled within NTID (the National Technical Institute for the Deaf) and RIT.
OUTspoken seeks to create an environment within the RIT community that is inclusive to all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, and to eradicate heterosexism, homophobia, and transphobia within RIT.
Global Union is the largest multicultural student organization at RIT. It promotes understanding of diversity and the development of a strong multicultural movement within our community. The Union encourages cooperation, interaction, and communication among all ethnic groups at RIT while providing leadership and support to all its affiliated organizations.
It is the mission of the ALANA Collegiate Association to improve the overall collegiate experience of ALANA (African, Latin, Asian, Native-American) students through the promotion of academic excellence, cultural expression and leadership.
The RIT SAAC functions as a representative body of the student-athletes on campus. They provide leadership opportunities and community service events for athletes and also try to foster camaraderie across the various athletic teams on campus.
