NCAA Frozen Four Ticket Information

Subject: REVISED 2010 NCAA Frozen Four Information
Dear Tiger Fans,
Due to concerns from students about missing classes Thursday morning to get in line to purchase tickets to the Frozen Four, we have decided to open the Gordon Field House box office at 7:00 a.m. We hope this helps. We appreciate your feedback. Please Read Carefully!
Tickets
We have secured tickets for the game. RIT has been assigned 600 tickets in Section 132. These tickets are $189 – which is a package price allowing the owner access to all three games (the two semifinal games on Thursday and the final game on Saturday night). Individual tickets may be purchased elsewhere to the separate games but they will not be in Section 132, so you may find yourself scattered throughout the Ford Field Arena. Faculty, Staff, and Alumni can purchase the Section 132 seats only at our box office at the rate of $189. Students can purchase tickets in this same section for $100. Students will only be able to buy one ticket a piece and must show current RIT identification.
Tickets will go on sale at the Gordon Field House Box office on Thursday, April 1st starting at 7:00 a.m. and will be sold on Thursday and Friday (Friday’s box office hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) or until sold out.
Travel Accommodations
We have three buses that will transport students to the games on Thursday and Saturday. Thursday’s buses leave at 7:00 a.m. traveling domestically to Detroit for the 5:00 p.m. RIT game. These buses will return immediately after the conclusion of the RIT game and will arrive on campus between 2:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m. on Friday morning. When we find our team in the finals on Saturday, buses will be leaving campus at 9:00 a.m. and will return at the conclusion of the championship game arriving back to campus early Sunday morning. Students can sign up for bus transportation at the Gordon Field House box office starting Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. First come, first serve.
Many of you will be transporting yourself to the game. Although the bus transportation that RIT is organizing will take a US only route, any students planning to travel on their own to Detroit through Canada are advised of the following:
The latest travel document requirements (new in 2009) are described here: http://www.getyouhome.gov/html/eng_map.html
With more details if needed here: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/
Non-US citizens on student visas need a "travel signature" from this current academic year on form I-20 or DS-2019. Questions should be addressed to RIT International Student Services iss@rit.edu or 585-475-6943.
Much more information will follow regarding on-campus events celebrating our great Hockey Team and following them as they make their way to the Frozen Four so keep your eyes out for announcements from the Frozen Four Frenzy Planning Team later this week!
Go Tigers!
