Tiger pride is in full roar
The Tigers are headed to the NCAA Frozen Four tournament in Detroit, and the RIT community is loving it. Tiger fans can meet at a bonfire Wednesday and gather before the game Thursday. All events are free and open to students, staff, faculty, alumni and the public.
- 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, Frozen Four Frenzy bonfire, south of S Lot
Residence Hall Association and Greek Council are hosting a bonfire to kick up the heat on the eve of the Frozen Four tournament with fire, food, Tiger cheers, music and give-a-ways. Announcement of two free Frozen Four tickets and bus accommodations will take place during the bonfire. - 5 p.m. Thursday, April 8, Detroit – RIT vs. Wisconsin
Tiger fans can watch the game on giant television screens at the Gordon Field House and Activity Center. Doors open at 4 p.m. Food will be available.
Off-campus venues for local alumni gatherings include The Keg (Downstairs at the German House), 315 Gregory St.; TC Riley’s, 200 Park Point Drive; and Jeremiah’s Tavern, 1104 Monroe Ave. Viewing parties for alumni to cheer on the Tigers across the country are listed on RIT’s Alumni Association Frozen Four Web site. - 7 p.m. Saturday, April 10 - Frozen Four Championship Game
If RIT makes it to the championship game, the frenzy will fill Clark Gym where Tiger fans can watch the game on big screens.
