Challenge

Imagine RIT is the University's annual festival showcasing works of innovation and creativity. It plays a significant role in RIT student culture: however, the event was derailed for the past several years due to COVID. Our client, RIT Marketing and Communications, wanted to revive the tradition this year and challenged us to build that momentum and draw people in to Imagine RIT

Solution

Our team decided to get a behind-the-scenes look at Imagine RIT and its exhibits. We chose several exhibits from different areas of interest and followed them along their work process throughout the semester. We met with the exhibitors to collect information, discover their story and capture footage These were used to create videos, which we posted on Technically Speaking's Instagram account to help promote their exhibit. We also showcased these behind-the-scenes stories at our own exhibit at Imagine RIT. It was a rousing success!
