Challenge
We were our first client. Technically Speaking needed to create a brand of its own while adhering to RIT's brand guidelines. No easy feat, we bean our journey by conducting research through surveys and referring to other student agencies at other universities. We then created and drafted our values, then we worked with RIT Marketing and Communications department to make sure our grand followed RIT's overarching brand while still being able to retain our individuality as creatives.
Solution
Our brand needed to represent the student voice while offering something new and unique to the RIT community. Our competitive edge is we are diverse, young, RIT-supported and can offer a full suite of marketing communication services to our clients. So we leaned into it and focused on digital and social media marketing, and the benefit of guidance from faculty and industry professionals.
