P Cubed Retreat! | Late Spring 2022
AdvanceRIT plans to once again host a full-day retreat twice over the 2022 summer semester called the Promotion Package Prep (P Cubed) Retreat for Women Faculty. Last year’s event was well attended and participants reported high satisfaction with the retreat. The objective of the event was to put time aside for women faculty to work on their promotion dossier. In addition, there were group discussions, break activities, and mini-workshops all dedicated to boosting their chances at promotion and expanding their RIT network. All of the participants of the retreat strongly agreed/agreed that the event was valuable and helped them to expand their RIT network. They said that the event exceeded their expectations and provide skills and information that support their overall career success. One of the highlighted comments from a participant was that the session provided “…some protected time to work on this. I feel much better and more focused and confident”.
