James Janicki is co-founder and vice president of engineering and quality at Real Time Enterprises Inc. Founded in 1981, Real Time Enterprises, Inc. is based in Pittsford. It is a full-service software engineering firm with particular expertise in developing and implementing innovative business solutions. The company employs nearly 40 professionals. In addition to his leadership responsibilities at Real Time Enterprises, Janicki serves on the board of directors at both Memberware Technology and RTek Medical Systems. As a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers, he helped develop a robotics curriculum for the Pittsford school system. Previous employers include Eastman Kodak Company and Gould, Inc. He is a member of two of RIT's industrial advisory boards – Computer Science IAB and Information Technology IAB. In addition to his master's degree from RIT, he has a BS in computer engineering from Case Western University.
