Vice President, Signal Processing & Algorithms Group, Sensors Division, Systems & Technology Research
Dr. Michelle Spina Ph.D., BS ’91 has over 20 years of technological leadership and strong interpersonal skills with deep management experience in both commercial and Department of Defense markets, across large established corporations, fast-paced start-up companies, and world-class research university environments. Currently, she is a vice president at Systems & Technology Research and Signal Processing & Algorithms group lead within the Sensors Division. As Group Lead, she is responsible for the management of a $42 million portfolio and over 60 staff members in addition to capture management and business development activities for new business in this area. She has extensive experience in both technical management and business development and has worked closely with contracts, finance, sales, marketing, and development departments to define scope, provide requirements for and guide the development of solutions. She has regularly dealt directly with customers in all stages of the business cycle (pre-sales support, services implementations, and customer support), providing support and expertise to the field. Dr. Spina holds a TS/SCI clearance.
