Dr. Spina Ph.D, MS ’89 has over 30 years of experience in high technology start-ups, building teams and technologies. His focus has been on bringing disruptive technologies into established industries.

Prior to joining Bowhead, Bob was CTO of Homesite Insurance, heading up digital transformation. Bob was vice president of technology at BBN, and a co-founder of RAMP. Bob has held senior technical positions at several successful startups, including Sonexis, Integral Access, NBX Corporation, and Natural Microsystems.

Bob received his MS in Electrical Engineering from RIT and has a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo.

Bob serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Kate Gleason College of Engineering at RIT.
