Note: David Cox, MS '94 (GCCIS) writes "After completing a MS in Computer Science, I worked for a few years at Xerox and then moved to Raleigh, NC in 2001. Since 2001, I have worked at ABB Corporation in the U.S. Corporation in the U.S. Corporate Research Center. In 2010 I completed my PhD in Computer Science. During this time I also became involved with my community and public service. In 2015 I was elected to the Raleigh City Council where I represent 90,000 citizens in northeast Raleigh. Thank you to RIT for helping me obtain the foundation for my career!"

Several former and current RIT Tigers were in attendance to celebrate the newlyweds at the Pomona at Blue Barn Cidery. The two met during their first year at RIT and quickly became friends and supporters of each other's success. They currently reside in Houston, TX where Steve is an Account Executive with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Katy is a Managing Consultant with Simpler Consulting, an IBM Company.
