Note: Lydia Yeckley '19 (KGCOE) and her father competed on Discovery Channel's Rocket Around The Xmas Tree as the Snow It Alls. On the air in December 2020, the rocket competition featured launching holiday trees, sleighs, toy soldiers and more.

Note: Timothy Cosgriff MS ’96 (CAST) exhibits at George Eastman Museum in Holiday Sweet Creations Exhibit 2020. Timothy Cosgriff, Director of Community Events for SUNY Empire State College. Timothy has exhibited at the Museum in this exhibit for over ten years. He currently has two works on display. His wreath is made from found objects that have been repurposed. His gingerbread creation is based on the film “Harvey “and features two Lomography Fish Eye Camera images on film. Timothy and Madi had a great conversation on photography, film, RIT and Timothy's aunt, Eloise Wilkin of Golden Books who is an alum of RIT.

Note: Dr. Peggy S. Terhune MBA '84 (SCB) received North Carolina's Order of the Long Leaf Pine award, the highest honor bestowed by North Carolina’s governors to individuals who have made significant contributions to the state and their communities through their exemplary service and outstanding accomplishments. Dr. Terhune was recognized for her outstanding work as an advocate and leader in services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders. Dr. Terhune serves as the President and CEO of Monarch, a statewide organization serving more than 31,000 North Carolinians with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders each year. She celebrated her 25th anniversary as CEO in 2020.
