Why did you come to RIT?
I initially chose RIT for only two reasons: generous financial aid and the co-op program. However, since I arrived, I found many new reasons to stay, and even more reasons to become heavily involved on campus. With a huge variety of clubs and activities, I spend my time with friends and meet new people doing a range of interesting things. From the Society of Software Engineers to 5 different intramural sports teams to Religious Life to bartending for our campus catering company and many more, the possibilities are endless. On top of that, the rigorous academics—which sometimes can be a pain— prepared me incredibly well for my coops; opportunities to work at top-tier companies and organizations, doing the specific job I want to do after graduation all as an undergrad.
