About RIT History Exhibits
Welcome to the RIT History Exhibits, a digital archive designed to acquaint you with some of the collections found in the RIT Archives located on the 3rd floor of the Wallace Center. RIT Archive Collections is home to collections of materials that document RIT's rich history, dating back to 1829. This site offers a glimpse at our history through a series of digital exhibits that highlight a unique subject, person, time period or event at RIT. The images are representative of the materials in the collection and include photos of students, campus life, buildings, faculty and administration, classes, organizations, and athletic teams from the 1880s to current times.
The University Archives preserves the official records of RIT appraised as having permanent value, including photographs transferred from various offices, departments, organizations, and individuals on campus.
Enjoy!
