Digital Collections
Our Digital Collections are a part of the RIT Libraries’ efforts to make many of our collections more ubiquitously available in digital form.
We use LUNA web software to deliver still image, video, and audio files of our holdings. These Digital Collections represent a small fraction of what we hold in the RIT Archives, but our offerings in the digital repository are constantly growing. Decisions about what to digitize may be based on a number of factors, such as funding opportunities, the condition of the original object, staff availability, user demand, and materials that support the teaching and research mission of RIT.
