Past Exhibitions
The Charrette is an annual, intensive workshop for RIT College of Art and Design students in Foundation classes. Students have one week to create sculptural objects out of various materials based on a given theme. The designs are then showcased during a final reception — where select creations are also chosen for awards and inclusion in a curated exhibit in RIT's Bevier Gallery.
This annual group show brings together creative work in various media by faculty across the College of Art and Design, including Art and American Crafts, Design, Film and Animation, and Photographic Arts and Sciences. The exhibition spans two galleries: Bevier Gallery (Booth Hall, 2600) and William Harris Gallery (Gannett Hall, 3030).
Seniors in BFA Studio Arts present their capstone projects spanning painting, ceramics, furniture design, glass, sculpture, installation, and more:
Emma Herz, Spider Martins, Lauren McAndrew, Ruorui Mu, Finnegan Placek, Sophia Shufelt, Tori Wicksall, Tia Wilson, and Nastassia Witte
