Our affiliated clubs and organizations enable students to further develop skills learned in their programs, network with professionals and peers, and find a new communities to connect with.

This club fosters connections between RIT 3D computer graphics enthusiasts as well as career prep and advice from industry alumni and professors. It is a more laid-back, hangout kind of vibe with fun events.

Animation Club is an all-inclusive community of artists, created to serve as the social backbone for students with an interest in animation, provide a network of current students and recent alumni, and further knowledge and appreciation for the process and industry of animation.

Drawing Club is meant to provide a resource for all types of artists interested in drawing professionally and casually.

FVASA has an office where it sells its products, including film, gaff tape, and film processing. It is located in the A level of Gannett Hall, behind the vending machines across from the cage. Everyone is very friendly, so stop by and say hello.

The RIT Glass Guild is an on-campus club that provides RIT glass students fundraising opportunities to support trips to glass and art associated destinations like the annual Glass Art Society Conference.

The Graphic Design Club aims to bring graphic design majors, and others interested in design, together to help build and grow the graphic design community at RIT.

House of the Arts is dedicated to fostering creativity and growth within the student body. Open to all majors, House of the Arts provides the environment and tools necessary to not only harness but evolve skills in practices between visual arts, textiles, photography, literary arts, music, performance, and more.

House of the Arts provides its members with countless tools, mediums, and resources for this purpose. Such amenities include various tools and mediums for visual arts, a photography studio, light tables, a digital art/editing suite, a sound studio, and more. In-house showcases provide members the opportunity to share their work, while visits to off-campus galleries and events provide insight into all kinds of work outside of our members. House members are encouraged to make full use of the tools and opportunities provided, and have complete access to them regardless of discipline or living arrangements.

Beyond creative expression, House of the Arts provides a safe and comfortable environment for all members, being a home as much as a house. Members can enjoy a communal lounge outfitted with student creative pieces and various media share tools, gender-neutral bathrooms on-floor, and a dedication to fostering a productive and healthy community. House of the Arts is RIT’s residential home for all students with a heart for creativity and arts.

RIT's IDSA chapter aims to establish a community of industrial designers at RIT by organizing events, competitions, and activities to benefit the students of the industrial design major.

This club promotes networking between students and professionals and unity with all students in the interior design program at RIT. It aims to have fun while learning more about the interior design profession and remain an International Interior Design Association (IIDA) student representative. It also educates the public about the interior design profession.

This club develops community within the RIT metals and jewelry design program and creates opportunities for students to create and market their own brand. Fundraising events help students participate in conferences locally and nationally, invite visiting artists to campus, and curate shows. Students also learn new techniques through skill sharing.

RIT's chapter of the National Press Photographers Association is a forum for education and discussion among young professionals in the photojournalism industry.

New Media Club is an event-oriented club that seeks to bring new media design majors, and those interested in new media design outside of the major, together outside the classroom. We also seek to provide a strong mentorship program that bolsters relationships, encourages constructive conversation, and instills confidence in every member of our community.

The Photo Arts Collective seeks to promote community across graduate and undergraduate programs to encourage personal, academic, and professional development and growth within the creative industry. This is achieved through social activities, informal critiques (scheduled to complement students' academic milestones), workshops, and celebration of achievements. Members also help one another install their shows, workshares, and walkthroughs as this allows members to share ideas and learn through working together.

The purpose of this organization is to foster friendship, knowledge, and innovation — not only among students from the photo science major — but among all who are interested in learning about the scientific applications of photography and imaging.

A student chapter of SIGGRAPH, an international special interest group in computer graphics. The club hosts workshops to learn new skills and events to practice those skills in a fun way and network with other students and professionals.

Sculpture Club is the culmination of artists who work in a mixed media sculptural way. The club consists of both graduate and undergraduate students at RIT. Sculptors explore traditional and contemporary three-dimensional artistic methods, new media, conceptual practices, and craft techniques. The mission of this club is to unite members to create a stronger community among students interested in a sculptural medium. The club hosts workshops, visiting artists, and group critiques to better the individual artist.

SMPTE is the global society of media professionals, technologists and engineers working together to drive the industry forward. Join the SMPTE RIT student chapter for meetings — no knowledge or prior experience is required to attend.

RIT Student Government's mission is to represent the interests of the student body through the implementation of innovative programs, services, and initiatives that enrich student lives. It is the primary source of advocacy for students from RIT and utilizes a shared governance structure to voice student opinions and concerns.

Thought At Work connects young designers to industry professionals and bridges the gap between disciplines through lectures, workshops, and community networking events. Through these events, design students learn from established professionals working in the field and make connections with their peers. Across all disciplines and mediums, it finds common ground through design thinking and creative problem solving.
