Artistry of School for American Crafts Showcased at Walk-through May 17
Students will display top pieces in metals, wood, ceramics and glass

The school year for student artists in RIT’s School for American Crafts will culminate with the annual “Walk-through” showcasing student-produced work at both the graduate and undergraduate level in ceramics, metals, wood and glass.
“Walk-through” is from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 17 in the James E. Booth Building on the RIT campus. The event is free and open to the public.
The event is a celebration for the school that began more than 20 years ago. Visitors are welcome to walk through the school’s state-of-the-art facilities and view the students’ top pieces. The students will also provide an inside look at the beginning stages of an artist’s process—offering visitors the opportunity to look at their sketchbooks and drafts.
