RIT’s School of Film and Animation Student Honors Show takes place at the Dryden Theatre
Some of the best films produced by student filmmakers at Rochester Institute of Technology are ready for public viewing.
RIT’s School of Film and Animation presents its annual Student Honors Show at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, at the Dryden Theatre, George Eastman House, 900 East Ave., Rochester.
First-year students through graduate students in RIT’s School of Film and Animation submit hundreds of films for consideration for the annual Honors Show. Many of the films go on to national and international festivals.
A committee comprised of the school’s faculty and students selects 20 films from more than 500 entries. The students’ films are of various genres including live action, narrative, documentary, experimental and animation (2D, 3D and stop-motion). The entire show is approximately three hours.
The public is invited to attend. Admission is $5, students with ID are admitted for free.
