Lella Vignelli, who enjoyed a lifelong collaborative working relationship with her husband, the late Massimo Vignelli, and whose Vignelli Center for Design Studies placed RIT onto the international forefront of design studies, died Dec. 22. -

Chuck Cerankosky ’03 (industrial design) had never served a dinner table or bartended when he opened Good Luck restaurant in Rochester eight years ago. Recently, the restaurant was named one of the 18 best bars in America, according to Esquire magazine. -

Photo exhibit highlights alumnus Bernie Boston
The exhibit, “Everyday with the President: Bernie Boston Photographs, 1967-1992,” is open through Nov. 11 in RIT’s William Harris Gallery. Boston ’55 photographed the lives of five U.S. presidents—from the routine to the highly politicized—including a moment of President Ronald Reagan laughing.
